Kid Cudi denies feud with Timothée Chalamet

Entergalactic creator and rapper Kid Cudi has recently come out to vehemently deny the rumours circulating that he is embroiled in a feud with the young actor Timothée Chalamet. Directly rejecting the gossip, Cudi noted that he’ll “always love him”.

The 39-year-old emcee took to social media after a fan on Twitter reposted a picture of Cudi and Chalamet from 2021, along with the caption they were “devastated” to find out that the pair had fallen out and were no longer friends.

In response to the post, Cudi asked, “What happened???” to which one of his followers responded, “They think u and Timmy aren’t friends anymore for some reason”, unveiling that the rumour was currently “going viral on TikTok “.

However, the lyricist immediately debunked the myth, writing, “I spoke to him a few weeks ago. Timmy is my brother til the end of time, and beyond, I will always ALWAYS love him. We are good. Trust me. Idk where this is comin’ from, but please don’t believe the gossip online y’all.”

In 2018, the actor stated in an interview that Cudi saved his career by giving him some sage advice after a show in 2014 that performed poorly. Following this, the pair reunited at a GQ party, after which Kid Cudi labelled Chalamet his “favourite artist”.

The 27-year-old thespian has openly shared his love for Cudi’s music, and following Mescudi’s post in which he paid respect to him, Chalamet, in a since-deleted tweet, posted, “UHMMM OKAY STRIKE ME THE FUCK DOWN.”

The Wonka star has always shown a deep respect for Cudi and, in 2021, gifted Cudi an action figure of his Dune sci-fi character, Paul Atreides. “To the true master of the universe,” he wrote on the side of the box.

Despite the rumours, Chalamet and Mescudi remain close and have not had a falling out and following the rapper’s tweet, fans have now made sure to set the record straight online in his name.
