Kendrick Lamar has revealed his burner Instagram account

To Pimp A Butterfly rapper Kendrick Lamar has recently unveiled his burner Instagram account to fans, and hundreds of thousands now follow it. On June 15th, Lamar uploaded a selfie and a video to the account named @jojoruski and has since accrued several followers. Prior to this photo, The Compton emcee’s burner was undiscoverable because it was private.

Currently, Lamar is on the worldwide festival circuit. He will perform at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Roskilde Festival and will even headline The Governor’s Ball in New York. The recent video uploaded to Lamar’s burner was a mix of memes, selfies and videos. His official account follows the Grammy Award-winning rapper’s secret account. Underneath one of Lamar’s posts, Steve Lacy commented, “Hey Dot.”

Fans and followers were excited and joked about the account, with one writing, “This like watching a legendary Pokémon emerge”. Another posted, “When you tell your mom you missed the bus, and she makes you walk to school as punishment.” Another post the ‘Money Trees’ act uploaded was a video of himself in the studio holding his child, working on his last studio album, Mr Morale & The Big Steppers.

Mr Morale & The Big Steppers, which is now being taken worldwide on tour, has become the highest-grossing rap tour of all. On the back of the project, Lamar managed to headline last year’s Glastonbury festival. Building upon last year’s success, this year, the Compton artist was featured on a remix for Beyoncé’s ‘America Has A Problem’.

Furthermore, he recently featured on a single alongside Baby Keem entitled, ‘The Hillbillies’ which samples a classic Bon Iver track. Jack Harlow has recently spoken out about how Lamar complimented him on his last album, Jackman telling NME, “I ran into Kendrick at [The Met Gala], and it was like a few days after the album dropped, and he was like, ‘Yo. Shit is incredible.’ And he gave me enough props that I could have just walked home. I didn’t even want to meet anyone else.”
