Kanye West walked out of 'SNL' after Kim Kardashian called him a "rapper"

There is nothing more fragile than Kanye West‘s ego. Despite being one of the most self-confident creators in hip hop, the producer, rapper designer and all-around creative visionary, one word from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian sent him into a meltdown. that word being “rapper”.

Of course, anyone who knows of Ye’s work will easily be able to see the issues. The icon is much more than a simple spitter of bars. However, when Kardashian appeared as the host for Saturday Night live and referred to him as a rapper, Ye got out of the studio as quick as he could, angry and annoyed to have been demeaned by Kardashian.

In her monologue, Kardashian said: “I married the best rapper of all time. He’s the richest Black man in America, a talented legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So, when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing, his personality.”

Ye was supporting his ex-wife, from whom he had recently divorced, and was present for the game-changing moment in Kardashian’s career. it is an honour to host the show and Ye was admirable enough to provide support for Kardashian. However, in a recent episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kim was seen explaining the fuss that surrounded the monologue with her sister, Khloe.

“He walked out on SNL like mid-monologue, so I haven’t talked to him since,” she said. There were a number of issues that irked Ye; Kardashian said they were “divorced” instead of “filed for divorce” but it got worse. And he was upset that I also said he was a rapper. He said, ‘I’m so much more than a rapper, I can’t believe you said rapper.’

“I’ve sat there through so many speeches and things that have not been the most comfortable for me. But that was my partner and I stood by him. I would never embarrass him and walk out.”

Khloe replied: “Not even just speeches. Strong public stances he’s taken in many different areas that might not be your stance but you were his wife, and that’s what you do. But how is that fair to you?”

“That’s the thing,” Kim responded. “It’s like when he doesn’t get… he’s so used to getting exactly what he wants.”
