Kanye West and Travis Scott reportedly working on a collab album

Havoc has claimed that Kanye West and Travis Scott are currently working on a collaborative album.

The Mobb Deep rapper/producer made his comments during a recent interview about the making of The Life of Pablo for its 10th anniversary.

Speaking to Complex, Havoc, who contributed to ‘Real Friends’ and ‘Famous’, stated that Ye is working on a whole project with Scott and that several of his beats would be featured on it.

“Recently, I did a track – I don’t want to blow up the spot and say it just in case it don’t ever come out,” he said. “But I will say, he’s working on a project, I believe, with Travis Scott, and a few of my tracks have made the cut so far.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Havoc revealed what it’s like to be in the studio with Kanye.

“He’s very selective,” he said. “When I was there, though he had already picked what would make the album, he would have me work on more tracks because you never know with this guy; he might use it five years later.”

He added, “I do remember one time being in [the studio] when there was a few producers in there, and it feels like a competition going on. I’m not insecure, because I already know what I bring to the table. You feel the competition, but you more so feel it from their end.”

Scott was once signed to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label as a producer under the production wing, Very Good Beats.

They’ve collaborated many times over the years on songs like ‘New Slaves’ and ‘Guilt Trip’ on 2013’s Yeezus, ‘FML’ on 2016’s The Life of Pablo, ‘Praise God’ on 2021’s Donda, and ‘Thank God’ and ‘God’s Country’ on 2023’s Utopia.
