Kanye West to headline Coachella 2022

Kanye West has been announced to headline this year’s Coachella Festival among a host of high-profile names.

Ye will close the Sunday night of the festival and has already got fans excited. He is joined at the top of the bill by Harry Styles and the youngest ever Coachella headliner, Billie Eilish, who is just 20 years old.

Travis Scott was initially scheduled to make his debut as a headliner of Coachella, and he had been on the line-up since 2020. However, following the Astroworld tragedy, which killed ten people, the rapper was removed from the billing.

Frank Ocean was also set to headline the 2020 event, but he’ll now play the Californian bash in 2023, stepping aside to let other names take their turn at the uniquely placed party.

A selection of names on the bill alongside Ye is Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Doja Cat, Disclosure, Run The Jewels, Big Sean, Vince Staples, Stromae, Brockhampton, and Megan Thee Stallion.

This event will be the first Coachella since 2019, and it will play out over two weekends on April 15th-17th and April 22nd-24th at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

While the first weekend is completely sold-out, pre-sale begins for the second half of Coachella tomorrow and can be purchased here.
