Kanye West shares new preview of 'Security' update

It’s one of the oldest philosophical questions known to man: “Is a Kanye West album ever truly finished?” Judging by the disgraced rapper’s latest post, Donda 2 certainly has a long way to go.

The sequel to his 2021 release, the record has been routinely altered throughout its life. Though the record has only ever been released on Ye’s patented Stem Player, the album has still been manipulated within an inch of its life. The most recent song t get a revamp is ‘Security’.

Fans noticed that the song had been changed during a recent open-to-public event YZY FREE on Melrose Avenue. However, Mike Dean was tougher on the apparent additions to the song, commenting, “Nothing [new]” on a recent post from Our Generation.

The demise of Ye as a pivotal figure of hip-hop to a polarising antisemite has been dramatic. 2022 saw the rapper’s net worth catastrophically hit as he lost sponsorship and deals across the board, most notably with Adidas to brand Yeezy.

The rapper recently proclaimed to be maintaining the brand without Adidas and is shaping up a new fashion show, and was scouting for models. This is presumably why he held the YZY FREE event.

You can hear the new snippet for ‘Security’ below.
