Kanye West to perform in India for the first time

Kanye West is scheduled to perform in India for the first time in his career later this year.

The Chicago rapper is set to return with new music later this month with the release of his 12th studio album, Bully.

According to Rolling Stone, Ye has confirmed plans to perform in India in April 2026. However, dates and venues are yet to be revealed.

While Kanye has never performed in India, he has visited the country on a couple of occasions.

In 2009, he reportedly visited an ashram for a spiritual rejuvenation. Then, in 2012, he visited Mumbai for his fashion label and was hosted at the Taj Mahal Palace.

In recent years, rappers such as Travis Scott and Post Malone have brought their tours to India.

Kanye is planning to release his new album, Bully, on January 30th. The tracklist for the project was confirmed earlier this month, revealing 13 songs. It was first announced in 2024 and has been delayed several times.

Speaking on the album in 2025, Ye said, “This is more the way I remember Lauryn Hill[‘s] album, the way I remember Miseducation. I feel it is my Miseducation. It is my Gnarls Barkley album. Because Bully has a title and connotation that a lot of people are anti-bully. But I’m just hyper-next-level frequency right now.”

In December, Kanye announced his first European concert since 2014. On July 18th, he will perform at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, Italy, in front of a maximum of 103,000 people.

Prior to that, Ye is also scheduled to perform in Mexico City at the Monumental Plaza de Toros México on January 30th and 31st.
