Kanye West files trademark for new logo

Kanye West is far from averse to knuckling down in paperwork and getting his assets in order. His latest trademarking pursuit is his brand-new logo.

The logo, quite simply, is two concentric circles. One smooth and inset a few millimetres from the other, and one fluted like a mechanical gear.

This logo is set to be the commercial front of his fashion expansion. Thus, you may well see it dotted about the high street if he continues his investment in the clothing industry and starts opening up further stores.

West, or Ye as he is now known, has held this ambition for a long time. Way back in 2015 he told Vanity Fair, “I’ve already embraced the moment of when I finally get to have my own store, which was always a dream of mine.”

Continuing: “So even though we do really amazing sales online, my dream is just to have my own store. And to have multiples of it.”

This dream will be a reality soon enough it would seem and his double circle logo will stand alongside the recently trademarked shop name, YZYSPLY.

You can check out the filing, complete with the logo on the left, below.
