According to Kanye West, the greatest rapper among the so-called “big three” is none other than Kanye West. The star who is now going by Ye broke the news of his own achievement in a new Instagram post.
In block capitals to make the point extra clear, the ‘Heartless’ star wrote: “EVERYONE KNOWS I WASHED KENDRICK [Lamar] ON NO MORE PARTIES IN LA. EVERYONE KNOWS I WASHED DRAKE AT THE FREE HOOVER CONCERT.”
So, by his measure, he has eclipsed the competition from modern hip hop’s so-called big three. He didn’t delve into his place within all-time list alongside the likes of Biggie Smalls, Tupac and Method Man, however, he did have a few more achievements to share.
“EVERYONE KNOWS I BROUGHT ADIDAS TO THIS CULTURE AND I TOOK THEM OUT. EVERYONE KNOWS LOTTA DEMNA VIRGIL JERRY KIM ALL WORKED FOR ME,” he continued.
There was still more to come from the 46-year-old who simply captioned the post with a smile. “I MADE YEEZUS DARK FANTASY PABLO GRADUATION THRONE 808S. I AMDE RUNAWAY DEVIL IN A NEW DRESS FATHER STRETCH.” he added.
Before concluding his self-appraised rant by stating: “I AM THE ONLY PERSON TO COME BACK TO NUMBER ONE AFTER CANCELLATION. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOAT. I STAND BY ME. MY FRIENDS CALL ME YE :).”
None of the other big three are yet to respond. However, it is possible that Kendrick Lamar seemingly taking a pop at Drake and J Cole during his appearance on the new Future and Metro Boomin album We Don’t Trust You, roused ye to join the debate.
