Kanye West and Bianca Censori reportedly heading for divorce after two years
Following a two-year union, Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, have reportedly entered in divorce proceedings and are now living apart.
While there had been no official announcement, according to sources close to TMZ, the couple had declared their plans to go their separate ways, with West telling friends that he had plans to divorce Censori and move to Japan. Censori is also said to have moved to Australia to be with her family.
This also follows various public appearances by Ye, in which his wife did not join him. After first being seen in Tokyo alone, the rapper also showed up at a wrestling match supporting La Dinastia Wagner. The pair was last seen together in September shopping in Tokyo.
Prior to his union with Censori, West had been in a longstanding relationship with Kim Kardashian, with whom he has four children. After meeting in the 2000s, the couple was spotted off and on throughout the 2010s before eventually tying the knot in 2014.
However, their divorce after eight years of marriage led to West making various statements regarding her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, including referencing him in various songs. Following their divorce in March of 2022, West briefly dated actor and model Julia Fox before meeting Censori.
Despite the confirmation of their marriage in December 2022, there had been no announcement that they were even romantically involved. Censori also appeared on the album cover for Vultures 1, a series of collaboration albums he is making with Ty Dollar Sign.
Their union began as Ye was coming off of controversial statements regarding antisemitic remarks. Following the release of Vultures 1, many artists had asked that their samples be removed from the album since they were not cleared. Both Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, in particular, disavowed West’s previous comments and any use of their media alongside his music, with ‘The Prince of Darkness’ saying, “Kanye West asked permission to sample a section of a 1983 live performance of ‘War Pigs’ (sic ‘Iron Man’) without vocals and was refused permission because he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many.”
This statement also comes after Censori commented on West’s poor hygiene. Following his decision to get metal stubs grafted onto his teeth, Censori was said to have been absolutely disgusted by her husband was maintaining his health, saying that she wanted to gag every time she was near him due to him not taking proper dental care of his new implants.
