Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign's 'Vultures 2' has been delayed

On February 10th, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign released their exciting collaborative album, Vultures 1. Packed full of exciting features, including Travis Scott, Rich The Kid and Freddie Gibbs, fans of the Chicago rapper flocked to streaming platforms in droves to hear the new project.

In the lead-up to the project’s release, West and Ty Dolla $ign, real name Tyrone Griffin, unveiled that the complete Vultures series would be released as a trilogy of three instalments. Moreover, they insisted that Vultures 2 would hit Spotify on March 8th.

That said, fans were highly disappointed when they realised that Vultures 2 didn’t arrive when Ye had promised it would. Many took to Twitter/X to weigh in on the project’s postponement.

One user posted, “Kanye fans really thought he was dropping vultures 2 tonight after he delayed the last project 3+ times [two tears of joy emojis] y’all are STUPID [cry laughing emojis].”

Another user wrote, “Kanye wasn’t ever going to release Vultures 2 tonight and if you think he was your delusional.” Vultures 1 was delayed several times prior to its release, and many West followers are confused as to why some expected the body of work to drop on schedule.

Vultures 1 had various issues upon release, and due to copyright issues involving Donna Summer’s estate, the album was pulled from Apple Music by its distributor, FUGA. With its first instalment facing issues with distribution, many expected there to be a delay with Vultures 2 as it seemed clear West had no contingency plan.

As for not fas of the Chicago producer will have to wait to hear Vultures 2 as it seems West is preoccupied with his Donna Summer legal case and more. Hear Vultures 1 below.
