Kanye West album reading “Fuck Adidas” selling for $500k

The highly controversial and often offensive Chicago emcee and producer Kanye West has revealed that he will be auctioning a signed vinyl copy of his 2010 project My Beautiful Drak Twisted Fantasy with the writing “FUCK ADIDAS” and “YE”.

In 2022, West caused the sportswear company to lose approximately $771 million due to his anti-semitic and racist outbursts. The Graduation creator was even accused of “toxic and chaotic” behaviour in the workplace, and a video of West showing a porn film to Adidas executives got leaked online.

Following the company cutting ties with West, the beatmaker attempted to file a lawsuit against it, claiming that it continued to sell a shoe model he designed, thereby profiting from his work.

The vinyl copy of My Beautiful Drak Twisted Fantasy was given to West while he was visiting Paris with his wife Bianca Censori after droves of fans began swarming him and chanting, “Fuck Adidas!”

Following the signing, the auction house Moment in Time put the item up for sale, setting the price at $500,000. When spotted in Paris, West was wearing his signature full face-covering mask so it was impossible to see his reaction. However, after the vinyl signing, it was evident that the emcee agreed with his fans about Adidas.

Ye has been moving forward with his lawsuit against Adidas which has released a new version of the 350 shoes based on the Yeezy model Kanye designed for the brand before they cut ties two years ago.

Taking to Instagram to show his concern about the 350s, Ye wrote, “Anybody who loves Ye would not buy these fake Yeezys I never made these color ways I’m not getting paid off of them and Adidas is suing me.”

He continued, “All these celebrities and the public will stand against a T shirt or the color of my hat but when yall see me have my children hidden from me or see an actual Fortune 500 company rape one of your heroes in real life don’t nobody say nothing or do nothing.”
