Juice WRLD’s former mansion tied to double murder

An American Idol supervisor and her husband were killed inside their Los Angeles home earlier this week. The mansion reportedly belonged to Juice WRLD before his death in December 2019.

On July 14th, Robin and Thomas Kaye were found dead in their property, located in the Encino neighbourhood of LA. Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department showed up for a welfare check and initially discovered blood at the front entrance.

According to TMZ, they smashed a window to get inside and found the couple suffering from gunshot wounds, declaring them both dead at the scene. The incident is being treated as a double homicide.

Police were previously called to their home on July 10th when an unidentified suspect was reportedly attempting to gain entry, possibly with a gun. Neighbours spotted someone jumping over a fence, but there were no signs of forced entry.

When the police showed up on July 14th, they told neighbours that family members hadn’t heard from them in four days.

Juice, who died of an accidental drug overdose around six years ago, was the previous owner of the $4.5 million home. The property, which boasts a studio, billiard room, basketball court and backyard pool, was shown in many videos. Collaborators Ski Mask The Slump God and DJ Scheme were regular visitors.

An unreleased song called ‘Here I Go Again (Mansion)’ surfaced in 2020. When he recorded the track, he was likely living at the property.

He raps in the song, “Here I go, here I go again/ I’m in Los Angeles, I just came back from Japan/ Every day, I was doin’ Percocets, wasn’t fucking with them Xan’s/ Turned studio to a trap house, like I was whipping with the pans/ I spent three thousand on some pants/ She a horny dog, she just fucked me and my mans/ Yeah, a groupie and a fan/ Still ain’t trust her, so I fucked her with an Uzi in my hand.”
