Jadon Sancho gets Saweetie’s name tattooed behind his ear
Jadon Sancho has seemingly confirmed his relationship with rap star Saweetie. The Manchester United star has taken things to the next level by getting her name tattooed on him.
The rumoured couple were recently spotted at The Apollo Tattoo and Piercing Studio in Santa Monica, California. The footballer added to his tattoo collection by getting Saweetie’s middle name, Qiava, behind his left ear.
According to TMZ, his new tattoo coincided with covering up his hand tattoo, “her only,” which appears to reference an old relationship. He replaced it with flowers.
This isn’t the first time Sancho and Saweetie have been seen together in public, linking up at the Chelsea vs. Bournemouth game at Stamford Bridge in January.
Saweetie was previously in a long-term relationship with Migos member Quavo. After collaborating on the song ‘Emotional’, she was asked if she was concerned about mixing business with her personal life.
“That thought did cross my mind. But at the end of the day, my goal is to put out good music,” she told Vulture. “Whether he’s my boyfriend or if he wasn’t, I would’ve still wanted him on the song after I heard his verse.
“I can overthink things sometimes and that was one of the reasons why I originally didn’t want him on the song. But, forget it. If we’re gonna make good music, we’re gonna make good music. And we have great chemistry in the studio so it’s only right to put this out.”
In 2021, Saweetie revealed that they were no longer lovers, suggesting she had been cheated on. “I’m single,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band-aid scars, and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
