Jack Harlow spits over Snoop Dogg's 'Drop It Like It's Hot' in new freestyle

Jack Harlow dropped into the L.A. Leakers show to freestyle over Snoop Dogg’s ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’.

The Louisville native recently returned to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with his single, ‘First Class’. However, his new album, Come Home The Kids Miss You, failed to make it a chart double for Harlow. The record landed at number three behind Bad Bunny and Future but shifted an impressive 113,000 album-equivalent units.

Harlow’s time on the promotional trail took him to Los Angeles, where he freestyled over the Snoop track, which he declared the “best rap beat of all time”.

He rapped: “I keep on showing up and y’all boys are just absent again, Dropped a new joint, she got a new set of captions, Y’all don’t got passion, you just be wearing the fashion that’s in, I used to beg for acceptance, don’t plan on asking again.”

Recently, Harlow has been getting a lot of grief on TikTok and social media by those accusing him of being “mid”, with his latest freestyle also receiving harsh slander.

The 24-year-old also upset the elder statesman of the rap community when he appeared on Hot 97, and thought the Brandy track they played was by Aaliyah. When he was given a clue about her brother being the reason “a lot of people are famous,” Harlow admitted he had no clue Ray J and Brandy were siblings.
