Ja Rule has responded to 50 Cent’s comments about Ja’s Minnesota Timberwolves curse. Following an awkward half-time performance, which didn’t go as planned, Minnesota poked fun at the rapper. Ja subsequently responded by cursing the team on Twitter.
Over the weekend, The Murder Inc. rapper took to Instagram to extend the curse, writing in the comment section of one of the Timberwolves’ posts.
The curse was extended apparently because the NBA team is linked with 50 Cent. “#RENTFREE Only thing Curtis lifting up is his skirt… 50 been on my di*k he love my style lmao,” Ja wrote. “And now the curse has been extended.”
Following Ja’s Milwaukee Bucks halftime performance, 50 Cent said, “We had a curse! Somebody fucked up, and they let Ja Rule perform at halftime. Now, what we’re gonna do is take the curse off!” Shannon Sharpe is also reported as saying: “Skip, this might be worse than Fyre Festival”, the Undisputed host referring to the fraudulent music festival co-founded by Ja Rule.
