J Cole reveals his favourite songs on ‘The Fall-Off’ album

J Cole has revealed his favourite songs on The Fall-Off following its release last month.

The Fayetteville rapper dropped his latest album on February 6th, serving as his first LP in five years after The Off-Season in 2021.

On March 12th, Cole took to his blog, The Algorythm, to speak to fans for the first time since The Fall-Off was released.

As part of his lengthy message, the 41-year-old shared some of his current standout tracks from the album.

“Some of my favourite comments to see are the ones that say something like, ‘Man, every time I play this album I end up with a new favourite,'” he wrote. “It’s the highest compliment, and in my mind I be like, ‘I FEEL you!’ I felt the same way listening to the album before it even dropped, and I still feel like that right now.”

He continued, “I usually drop a project and be so tired from working on it that I don’t want to hear it once it’s out. But with this one it’s different. Currently, my favourite song is ‘The Let Out’… ‘Poor Thang’ and ‘I Love Her Again’ are creeping back up there too.”

Cole went on to explain why he’s remained quiet following the release of The Fall-Off, but that’s all about to change soon.

“My intention was to drop this album and let it sit for at least a month before I did any interviews,” he said. “I wanted to give people a chance to feel whatever emotions the music brought them, and formulate their own thoughts, ideas, opinions or interpretations before I came out and gave mine.”

He added, “I felt it would be best that way; more pure. Now, I feel like it’s a good time to step out my comfort zone (home) and go and do some interviews.”
