How many singles has Drake released?

Toronto rapper Drake is one of the most decorated artists in hip-hop. With four Grammy awards, 13 BET awards and a whopping 34 Billboard awards, the Young Money artist has broken all kinds of musical records. In fact, in the 2010s, Drake was awarded the accolade ‘Billboard Artist of the Decade’, beating pop-music powerhouses such as Rihanna and Adele.

During the 2010s, Drake was unstoppable. With four Grammy awards, 13 BET awards and a whopping 34 Billboard awards, the Young Money artist broke all kinds of musical records and was even awarded the accolade ‘Billboard Artist of the Decade’.

The rapper has not only a massive discography but also a hefty filmography, as before becoming a rapper, he was an actor. As an actor, Drizzy played the role of Jimmy Brooks in the Canadian teen drama series Degrassi. However, choosing to focus on music full-time, Drake released his mixtape Room for Improvement in 2006. He quickly followed up with Comeback Season in 2007 and So Far Gone in 2009. With so much buzz surrounding him, he got signed by Lil Wayne to Young Money.

Across his 14-year career, Drake has released seven studio albums, three compilation albums, four extended plays and seven mixtapes. Drake has had eleven number-one albums on the Billboard 200 (including compilation and collaborative albums).

That said, he has spent a relatively long time on top of the game. This year marked a change for Drake as he entered a battle with Kendrick Lamar. Although the Compton lyricist couldn’t strip him of his awards or reduce the number of hits, the former actor has had what the Section.80 creator showed that the musician hip-hop has championed for over 15 years is not all-powerful.

In fact, in an interview earlier this year, one of the most culturally significant acts of the last two decades, Kanye West, asserted that hip-hop has become “energised” with the “elimination” of Drake. Drizzy, like his former Young Money labelmate Nicki Minaj, has dominated the hip-hop scene for over a decade. Even after multiple defeats, he has continued to command the charts despite his inability to lyrically battle other MCs, as proved by his feuds with Pusha T and Meek Mill.

How many singles has Drake got?

Still, one apparent reason the Canadian has managed to overcome so much controversy and swerve so many hurdles is partially due to the sheer size of his catalogue compared to others. With so much music to enjoy, it is hard for fans not to return to Drake’s bodies of work.

All the projects he has released thus far have spawned hits, and some have resulted in multiple platinum-certified songs. From Thank Me Later to Certified Lover Boy, the sheer volume is unfathomable. However, it is Drizzy’s singles that often hook people.

With regular international radio play and promotion on streaming platforms the Scary Hours creator has got at least one single that everyone has heard of. Since the release of his 2010 debut album, the star has managed to drop a crazy 143 singles with an additional 82 as a featured artist.

That’s more solo singles than Jay-Z, Kanye West and Eminem. In fact, he has released more singles than most of the greats, with only Lil Wayne managing to top him with an insane 286 singles.

One of Drake’s most iconic tracks is ‘Hotline Bling’, which was the lead single of his fourth project, Views and has over 2 billion views on YouTube. ‘God’s Plan’ is also extremely popular and was the lead single of Scorpion. It also has amassed over 1 billion views on YouTube.
