Houston rapper stabbed to death in front of 10-year-old daughter
Houston rapper Judy World was stabbed to death over the weekend.
The 28-year-old (real name Krystal Jordan) lost her life at around 10pm on July 11th in the 11900 block of Bat Sheva Lane.
According to Click2Houston, police officers found Judy suffering from stab wounds, with a bystander providing first aid to the rapper.
The Houston Fire Department took Judy to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
28-year-old Kayla Wynita Rodgers was arrested and charged with manslaughter after remaining at the scene and being detained without incident. She is currently behind bars at Harris County Jail.
Judy’s mother claimed that she witnessed the murder, sharing her side of the story during an emotional interview with FOX 26 Houston.
“The night my daughter was stabbed, she went over there with good intentions to go get something for the guy that she was dating, from the mom,” she said while fighting back tears. “She went over there to talk to the mom ’cause she had him on a three-way on the jail call.”
She continued, “And the mom, the daughter, came outside. When she opened the door and saw my daughter there, she came outside with a butcher knife. Intentionally, she said, ‘I don’t want this bitch over here ’cause I’m finna kill her, ’cause this is what I wanna do.'”
The mother, who was with Judy’s 10-year-old daughter at the time, went on to say, “She killed her in an act of jealousy. Jealousy and bullying, that’s not the way to go. That’s the worst thing in the world now. You intentionally killed my daughter in front of me and her daughter. I asked the mom to just remove your daughter, help us. Get this knife away from her.”
