Hear two new Jay-Z songs from soundtrack of ‘The Harder They Fall’

Jay-Z has two new songs. The latest singles from Hova will appear on the soundtrack for the new Netflix film, The Harder They Fall.

One of the new releases, ‘My Guns Go Bang,’ sees Hova link up with Kid Cudi and first got teased last month. That collaboration between the two members of rap royalty marked the first time the duo had joined forces since 2009’s ‘Already Home’ from The Blueprint III.

He has also shared ‘King Kong Riddim’, which features BackRoad Gee, and Jadakiss. On the fiery track, Jay spits, “We raised by wolves in the crack den, We the Chicago Bulls, n****, of back then, That boy Tiger Woods, don’t make me back nines, We paid in full, sheep skin with the wool.”

Jeymes Samuel directs The Harder They Fall, and it stars Jonathan Majors alongside Nat Love and follows the tale of an outlaw attempting to seek out his nemesis, which Idris Elba plays.

The film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival on October 6th and arrives on Netflix on the 3rd of November.

Elsewhere on the soundtrack, there are appearances from Laura Mvula, CeeLo Green, Seal, plus Lauryn Hill and Fatoumata Diawara teaming up on ‘Black Woman’. Additionally, Koffee has taken the reigns on the titular track, ‘The Harder They Fall’, co-written by Jay-Z.
