Harvey Weinstein charged with sexual assault by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accuser

A former model, who has made charges against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in a civil lawsuit for sexual assault, has also brought forth a sexual assault case against disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.

Crystal McKinney was named in documents revealed by Fox News Digital on May 30th, accusing Weinstein of assaulting her and her friend in a New York hotel room in 2003.

McKinney’s claim was filed anonymously on February 28th, before which she had previously sued Combs in May 2024, accusing him of assault at a Men’s Fashion Week event in 2003.

For Weinstein’s part, his lawyer Imran H Ansari responded to the claims by saying: “Harvey Weinstein categorically denies the outlandish and fantastical claims made against him by Crystal McKinney in her complaint.”

He continued: “Made late in time and suspiciously on the heels of her complaint against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Mr Weinstein is ready to refute and defend against the salacious claims, that are believed to have been made with an opportunistic motive.”

Weinstein is currently undergoing a retrial for the sexual assault charges he was first convicted of in New York in 2020, where he had pleaded not guilty.

Meanwhile, in a nearby Manhattan courtroom, the trial against Combs continues, in which he is accused of five counts of sexual assault, trafficking, and racketeering. He has pleaded not guilty and denies all the charges against him.

Combs also faces more than 70 civil lawsuits for a range of similar charges, one of which includes McKinney’s, the charges in all of which he again denies.
