Future’s brother, FBG Casino, released from prison after fentanyl arrest

FBG Casino has been released from prison following his arrest last month. The Atlanta rapper, who is the brother of Future, is out of jail on $100,000 bond.

On November 14th, Casino, best known for his song ‘Lowkey’ with T.I., was arrested and charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl.

According to Complex, he was initially being held without bail, but on November 26th, a magistrate judge ordered him to be released.

The decision was reviewed on December 2nd, paving the way for $100,00 bond by his girlfriend’s home. He was released to his sister’s custody.

For the time being, he’s on home incarceration and unable to leave the house except for medical appointments and court appearances. He’s also under location monitoring and unable to drink excessive alcohol.

During their search, police found 21 kilograms of fentanyl, as well as $300,000 in a cardboard box, $80,000 in a Goyard bag, and $4,000 in his pocket. They claim the bag matches one on Casino’s Instagram account.

He was arrested at an Airbnb in Forest Park, Georgia, alongside co-defendant David Estevan Montillo Diaz. Officers claim Casino tried to escape through a side door.

Special Agent in Charge of FBI Atlanta, Paul Brown, released a statement following Casino’s arrest.

“This operation is an example of the power of the Task Force in disrupting deadly drug trafficking operations,” he said in November. “The seizure of 21 kilograms of fentanyl and over $380,000 in drug proceeds is a direct hit to those who seek to poison our communities.”

He continued, “The FBI, in partnership with our law enforcement colleagues, will relentlessly pursue these criminals and hold them accountable.”
