Foxy Brown denies she’s plotting to take down Jay-Z

Following the downfall of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, many are attempting to predict who will be next to face heinous accusations in the hip-hop community, with names such as Roc-a-Fella legend Jay-Z floated around baselessly online by fans.

Last month, he scrubbed his Instagram account leaving without any pictures which confused fans. That said, he has not been mentioned in any of the lawsuits against Diddy. Additionally, Foxy Brown has now intervened to silence rumours that she will bring forward information implicating Jay-Z in a crime. That alleged crime being rumours of a relationship they had when she was 16, which she has denied.

The internet is swirling with rumours about hip-hop legends and the music industry titans as the Diddy hysteria continues, but many have entered the world of conspiracy and are spreading misinformation regularly.

Foxy Brown was a prominent female rapper from Brooklyn during the 1990s and, even back then, there were reports insinuating she was in a sexual relationship with Jay-Z, which have never been proven. She first rose to fame after appearing on Jay-Z’s 1996 hit ‘Ain’t No Ni**a.’

When she became publicly known, she was 16 years old, whereas the Reasonable Doubt creator was 27, a decade older. Under US law, that would make their relationship illegal. However, these claims have never been substantiated and Brown is adamant they never had a relationship.

Now that Brown has become the focal point among the hip-hop community who are looking to expose another high-profile sex crime, the rapper recently took to social media to address those currently making up lies about her and Jay-z.

In an Instagram story, the emcee wrote, “In icon business.” She then responded to one fan’s comment, writing, “Miss me wit tha fake news. NDA? Ain’t a muthaf**ka alive could stop my story. NDA on my sh*t gon run 100 mill.”

One of the main posts that sparked the flame was a tweet suggesting that Foxy plans to go public with her alleged Jay-Z story when her alleged non-disclosure agreement is up in 2025. However, she denies that any part of this tweet was true.

In a separate post, she responded to a YouTube video titled ‘Foxy Brown Breaks Silence: Game Over 4 Jay-Z and Diddy’, which boasted a screenshot of a DM where Foxy tells someone her story will “shock [them] to [their] core.”

The lyricist commented, “Stop playing wit my name dying for a comment. Can’t spin me wit the sucker sh*t. Take down Hov. Better ask about the cloth I’m cut from. Y’all want me to be anti-Hov so bad,” she concluded with multiple crying laughing emojis.

Over the years, Foxy and Jay have collaborated on tracks such as ‘I’ll Be’ and ‘Sunshine’. Although rumours about Foxy and Hov have been in the air forever, Foxy has always shot down these falsehoods, which have never been proven.
