Fort Worth rapper Go Yayo has been arrested.

The 30-year-old (real name Kyrin Peters) was taken into custody on several charges on July 21st.

According to jail records, he was charged with violation of bond/protective order, evading arrest with a vehicle, and possession of marijuana under two ounces.

According to No Jumper, the Fort Worth Police Department arrested him following a high-speed chase. His mugshot was also posted online.

Fans took to the comments on his Instagram page, which has over 285,000 followers, to react to the news, writing, “Free you bro,” and “Damn foo they finna throw da book at yo ahh…. FAHHHHH.”

Go Yayo is best known for songs like ‘Gutta Musik’, ‘4e Til Death’, and ‘No Visa’, which have millions of Spotify streams. His G$ Ronnie collaboration, ‘Hoodfame Killuminati’, has over four million streams.

Additionally, his music video for ‘Where?’ with Famous Dex also has over 10 million YouTube views. So far this year, he’s released two projects, including Gd4: Last Man Standing and Free Trent.

This isn’t the first time Go Yayo has spent time behind bars, having previously been released in April 2025 after serving five months. However, he previously spent four years behind bars after smoking a blunt while police were chasing him.

Speaking on how it felt to be home in 2024, he told Dallas Global Media, “The best feeling in life, man. I wouldn’t wish prison on my worst enemy. Prison wasn’t nothing. I mean, it’s not a place nobody wanna be, but it wasn’t nothing I couldn’t get through.”

He added, “What hurts you is the time and the shit you might lose sitting in prison. I lost a lot of people, I lost a lot of money.”
