Former Terror Squad member Charlie Rock LD has died

Charlie Rock LD, an original member of the Bronx hip-hop group, Terror Squad, has passed away. His former bandmate and friend Cuban Link confirmed the news.

Link posted on Instagram: “Rest in peace to the big homey Charlie Rock LD… We had a lot left to do out here. May god rest your soul.” Link then called his late friend’s death a “shame”, as Rock was “doing good” before it. Presently, the cause of the rapper’s death is not known, but Link maintained: “He was clean, he was doing his thing.”

Rock hosted the Reppin’ Da Real podcast and was a life coach and youth mentor. In his YouTube bio, Rock claimed he was given a 10-20 year prison sentence at age 18 for “not ratting” on a friend, but then “reinvented” himself in jail. In prison, he was allegedly stabbed in the eye for defending Fat Joe’s honour over his old beef with 50 Cent in prison. Rock also claimed he held down the late Tupac Shakur when incarcerated.

On his Instagram, he also posted that Fat Joe thought he was going to kill him: “FAT JOE WAS MAD SHOOK OF CHARLIE ROCK LD… I WOULD NOT HURT LITTLE JOEY… HOW CAN U HURT UR SON…”
