Flavor Flav joins WGA strikers with music and food

In a display of solidarity during the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, Flavor Flav made a few friends among the Hollywood writers by staging a lively performance for the protesters outside Warner Bros. studios.

Arriving in Burbank on Thursday, Flav exuded positive energy as he addressed the picket line, offering words of encouragement and assuring them of his support. Expressing his solidarity, he declared, “[I’m] glad to be here, glad to support. I got ya’ll back.”

For several weeks, members of the WGA and their associates have been actively engaged in picketing outside major studios, advocating for fair compensation and safeguards against the encroachment of artificial intelligence (AI).

Alongside other notable celebrities, such as Imagine Dragons and Weezer, Flavor Flav has stepped forward to join the cause, adding his voice and showing support for the battle. The rapper and TV personality was joined by the likes of Jason Sudeikis and his Ted Lasso team as well as Quinta Brunson and the crew behind Abbott Elementary.

According to TMZ, Flav arrived with 25 Prince Street pizzas, 100 burgers from Irv’s Burgers and Liquid Death Water. After dishing out the grub, Flav performed Public Enemy’s befitting protest anthem, ‘Fight the Power’.
