Fetty Wap’s daughter, Lauren Maxwell, has sadly passed away aged just four. Her mother has confirmed the news.
Wap, who exploded in 2015 with his international hit, ‘Trap Queen’, took to the stage at Miami’s Rolling Loud Festival last weekend and dedicated his performance to his daughter. Following his set, he took to Instagram to write: “LoLo daddy did that shit for you last night baby girl.”
Lauren’s mother, Turquoise Miami, shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram of their daughter smiling and playing in a swimming pool. She wrote under the video: “This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart, and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius.
Miami added: “If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself ‘I love you LAUREN’ because they say that souls can feel your love #rip.”
It’s been a harrowing year for the rapper. Last October, his brother was murdered in New Jersey, and Wap confirmed his death in a mournful post which read: “I love you lil bro my twin … R.I.P… I failed you bro I’m sorry”.
Wap is yet to officially comment on his daughter’s passing.
