Fat Joe says Drake dissing DJ Khaled is “a form of bullying”

Fat Joe has claimed that Drake firing shots at DJ Khaled is “bullying.”

Drizzy released his new album, Iceman, on May 15th, and dissed Khaled on the Flywilliums and Ovrkast-produced song ‘Make Them Pay’.

In the lyrics, he raps, “And, Khaled, you know what I mean/ The beef was fully live, you went halal and got on your deen/ And your people are still waitin’ for a free Palestine/ But apparently everything isn’t black and white and red and green, damn/ I’m seein’ everyone’s true colours, for real, I’m sensin’ a theme.”

During a recent episode of the Joe and Jada podcast, Joe defended Khaled. “It doesn’t sit right with me that he disrespected DJ Khaled,” he said.

In response, Jadakiss said, “That’s what’s wrong with hip-hop. It’s invisible lines. It’s this and that. Is it beef? Is it hip-hop? What could be said. What can’t be said. It’s supposed to be musical. And then it gets to a point where it’s not musical. Then it’s not hip-hop.”

Joe stated that it’s unfair because Khaled can’t respond in the form of raps, but Jada pointed out his industry connections.

“He got people. He got money,” he said. “Go in the phone, help yourself. It’s only hip-hop, right?” However, Joe concluded, “I just felt like it was a form of bullying.”

Drake called out Khaled for remaining silent on matters relating to Palestine. The pair previously had a healthy relationship, releasing a total of eight songs together.

In the past, they’ve teamed up on huge tracks such as ‘Fed Up’, ‘I’m on One’, ‘No New Friends’, ‘For Free’, ‘To the Max’, ‘Popstar’, ‘Greece’, and ‘Staying Alive’.
