Fat Joe claims that DaBaby is 'the new Tupac'

Fat Joe has named DaBaby as the heir to Tupac Shakur’s throne in a new interview.

Joe appeared as a guest on BET’s programme, Rap City, which originally ran from 1989 until 2008 on the network, and returned for one night only. Not only did Joe name who he thought the modern-day equivalent of Pac is, but he also said who he thought is today’s version of him.

When the host, Big Tigger, springs the question on Joe about Tupac, he takes a while to arrive at his conclusion before saying DaBaby. Meanwhile, it didn’t take him any time to contemplate who his reincarnation was, and he immediately answered Nems, who the rapper described as an “underground rapper from Coney Island” before adding: “This guy is crazy, when I see him, I see me.”

DaBaby was happy with Joey Crack’s statement and responded to a clip that surfaced on Instagram, saying, “Agreed. But they gone salt that down too Crack.”

DaBaby hit the headlines in the summer and caused controversy after delivering an abhorrent homophobic rant on-stage at Rolling Loud in Miami.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of the deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up.”

At another point, he disgustingly proclaimed: “Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”
