Fat Joe admits he drinks up to 40 cans of Pepsi every day
Fat Joe has admitted to being addicted to fizzy drinks. During a recent podcast episode, the Bronx rapper revealed he drinks up to 40 cans of Pepsi daily.
The ‘What’s Luv?’ hitmaker confessed to his bad habit while discussing N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s alcohol consumption.
“I worry about you ’cause you drink a lot and I don’t know how safe that is,” he said on Joe and Jada. “I’m not a doctor, I don’t give a fuck. I drink too many Diet Pepsis. Very, very much, I got a problem. 30 to 40 a day.
“Let me tell you something: if I went to the doctor, God forbid, and they told me, ‘Yo, you have a problem due to Diet Pepsi.’ I gotta take the shit on the chin. I gotta be like, ‘I knew I was doing too much with them Diet Pepsis.’”
If he were told he needed to kick the habit, he wouldn’t oblige. He added, “They’re not stopping me. I was in jail with a thousand Diet Pepsis.”
Other rappers have collaborated with cola brands in the past. In 2021, Tyler, The Creator, teamed up with Coca-Cola for a commercial.
“I PROVIDED COCA-COLA WITH ALL THE SOUNDS FOR THIS,” he wrote on social media. “Mannnn thanks coca cola for reallll big love for the opportunity. I was like ehh idk but then i fucking ran with it. commercials need sounds like this, thanksssss.”
Joe was hit with sexual assault allegations earlier this year but denied any wrongdoing. “I’ve been tested the last few months – I’ve lost my big brother, my father, my mother, and now I’m fighting against these disgusting lies,” he said. “But please know I will not break and I will never back down.”
