Ticket prices have been released for Drake and Kanye West’s gigantic joint concert. While a hefty price tag was always expected, the reality has left fans stunned.
The concert is going ahead on December 9th at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California, after West reached out to Drake to leave their rivalry behind and join him for a concert in aid of Larry Hoover. He has been in prison since 1973 when he was convicted of killing 19-year-old drug dealer William ‘Pooky’ Young. However, Hoover’s sentence has since been extended for conspiracy, extortion, and money laundering.
“Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest,” West said. “I’m asking Drake on December 7 to join me on stage as a special guest to share the two biggest albums of the year, live in Los Angeles, with the ultimate purpose being to free Larry Hoover.
“I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause, but prove to people – everywhere – how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together.”
As the event was to raise awareness of Larry Hoover, many suspected that it would be free. However, the cheapest ticket will cost $200, and the most expensive is $1250.
