Ex-bodyguard claims Usher was hospitalised after Diddy assault

A series of individuals and high-profile figures have come forward against Sean “Diddy” Combs following his arrest for sexual misconduct, one of which includes Usher and the claims made by Diddy’s ex-bodyguard, Gene Deal.

Deal previously worked with Diddy during the peak of the Bad Boy Records reign in the 1990s and became a prominent figure in the hip-hop world during a significant period of transformation. However, he also became well-known for his off-kilter and controversial comments, which often appeared in relation to the deaths of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.

During a recent interview on The Art of Dialogue, Deal shared that he believes Usher, who was close to Diddy throughout the ’90s, was a victim of sexual assault and suffered so badly that he was hospitalised after the event. Deal claims he was not present during the attack, but that he “heard it from some music executives” that Diddy sent “this little kid to the hospital.”

Although he declined to name names, saying, “I’m not gonna speak on they name” and suggesting they might come forward themselves, he said he felt obliged to share these new details in light of the ongoing allegations made against the disgraced rapper.

An old interview with Usher recently resurfaced amid the ongoing claims, which saw him explaining that, after he was signed to LaFace Records, he lived with Diddy for a period and saw “very curious things” taking place. He said he “didn’t necessarily understand it,” revealing that Diddy introduced him to “a totally different set of shit — sex, specifically.”

Discussing the amount of women Diddy would often have around the house, Usher added: “Sex is so hot in the industry, man! There was always girls around. You’d open a door and see somebody doing it, or several people in a room having an orgy. You never knew what was going to happen.”

Diddy is currently facing several lawsuits for racketeering and sexual assault and, if convicted, faces life in prison. Since his arrest, a number of individuals have made additional claims against the rapper, while others have continued to hint at possessing knowledge of other odd occurrences during his tenure.

Tony Buzbee, who is representing 120 cases against Diddy, recently revealed a new set of lawsuits planned to be filed over the coming months. Some of these lawsuits include the names of others who enabled the rapper’s behaviour or actively engaged in what he called “freak-offs”—the famous parties where Diddy’s criminal behaviour occurred.

Though an overwhelming amount of information has come forward since the allegations began to appear, the publication of the list is expected to rock the music industry significantly, with many names said to be well-known and well-liked across the globe.
