Eminem to release expanded edition of ‘The Eminem Show’

Eminem has revealed he plans to release an expanded edition of his album, The Eminem Show.

The rapper’s fourth album was supposed to be released back in June 2002 which is on the verge of turning 20 hence why Marshall Mathers is celebrating the record. However, they had to release the album nine days early after it was bootlegged online and appeared illegally on the market.

Despite the pirated version being available, in its first full week of sales in the United States, the album still managed to sell a staggering 1.3 million copies. It also featured cameos from star names including Dre, Nate Dogg and D12.

Mathers made the announcement on social media about the upcoming release and he told fans it will drop on the album’s 20th birthday on May 26th.

In the promotional video for the release, Eminem includes snippets from album cuts such as ‘Without Me’, ‘Superman’, ‘Cleanin’ Out My Closet’, ‘White America’ and ‘Sing For The Moment’. Currently, it remains unknown what the expanded edition of the album will entail, but, we’ll all find out tomorrow when it arrives.

Meanwhile, Eminem appeared on Saturday Night Live over the weekend during the final sketch of long-serving performer Pete Davidson who paid tribute to the show’s creator, Lorne Michaels.
