Eminem takes shots at Kanye West on new JID collaboration
Eminem returned with a new verse on July 4th. His bars, which target Kanye West, appear on a new JID collaboration called ‘Animals (Pt. I)’ from the Dreamville rapper’s GDLU (Preluxe) project.
Slim Shady comes in for the third verse on the track, where he takes shots at Ye by referencing one of his recent revelations.
“Man, look at all the mayhem I’m causing/ That’s prolly why I stay in the hot seat,” he begins. “With these magazines, I act out like Ye and his cousin/ Little cocksucker, I’m sprayin’ and bustin’/ Your shit sucks dick, stop sayin’ it doesn’t.
“That’s probably the reason there’s nothin’ you’ve bodied of recent/ I feel like I just walked in and seen you naked, ’cause you not even decent”
In April, Kanye released a song called ‘Cousin’, where he admitted he had an incestuous relationship with his cousin when they were kids. On the track, he opens up about performing fellatio on him.
He rapped, “Hanging with my cousin, reading dirty magazines/ We seen some n*ggas kissin’, we ain’t know what that shit mean/ Then we start re-enacting everything that we had seen/ That’s when I gave my cousin head, gave my cousin head/ Gave my cousin head, I gave my cousin head/ I gave my cousin head.
“And I know these n*ggas ’bout to judge me now/ Started off when we was hanging out/ Told my cousin not to tell nobody (Please, no, don’t tell nobody)/ People tell me take it to my grave/ ‘Truth will set you free someday’/ I don’t think they understand/ That I’m not attracted to a man (They thought I was gay).”
Kanye explained more about the lyrics on X, revealing he found magazines of naked men that belonged to his mother. He also mentioned that his cousin is currently serving a life sentence for murder.
“This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore,” he wrote. “Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.”
He added, “My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different. My name is Ye and I sucked my cousin’s dick till I was 14. Tweet sent.”
