Eminem releases expanded edition of 'The Eminem Show' for 20th anniversary

Eminem has released the expanded edition of The Eminem Show to commemorate the album turning 20.

Marshall Mathers made the announcement earlier this week, and now it’s finally arrived. His fourth album was prematurely released nine days early and was initially meant to have a June release, but it was bootlegged online and appeared illegally on the market which forced Eminem to share it in May.

Despite the pirated version being available, in its first full week of sales in the United States, the album still managed to sell a staggering 1.3 million copies. It also featured cameos from star names including Dre, Nate Dogg and D12.

The extended edition of The Eminem Show includes a mammoth 18 bonus tracks including four previously never-heard tracks ‘Stimulate’, ‘The Conspiracy Freestyle’, ‘Bump Heads’ and ‘Jimmy, Brian and Mike’.

Additionally, the record also features new instrumental versions of ‘Without Me,’ ‘Sing for the Moment’ and ‘Cleanin’ Out My Closet’. There are also live takes of ‘The Way I Am’ and ‘The Real Slim Shady’, which appeared on the Marshall Mathers LP.

Eminem announced the release by writing on Twitter: “‘Til I collapse I’m spillin’ these raps/long as you feel ’em’ 20 YEARS since #TheEminemShow!!! Expanded Edition out now.”
