Eminem breaks record as 'The Slim Shady LP' surpasses 1 billion streams

Eminem is a record-breaker again as his landmark album, The Slim Shady LP clocks up over one billion streams on Spotify. By doing so, the rapper now has eleven different albums with the accolade.

The Slim Shady LP joins the likes of 2010 album Recovery, 2018 album Kamikaze, 2020’s Music to be Murdered By and, of course, 2000’s The Marshall Mathers LP.

It’s a reminder that despite Em’s work often being labelled as “unlistenable”, plenty of people are doing just that. With over eleven billion streams through Spotify alone, Eminem’s work is still clearly finding a willing audience.

It’s an impressive feat to have so many of his albums surpass the one billion stream mark. In fact, it is only his debut album, 1996’s Infinite which has failed to achieve the accolade.

Naturally, Eminem’s longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg, took to Twitter to share his congratulations. Below you can find the full list of Eminem albums with over one billion streams.
