Eminem announces another greatest hits collection 'Curtain Call 2'

A second greatest hits collection is the kind of thing only megastars can pull off. However, no matter your view on his music, to try and claim Eminem to be anything other than a megastar is way off the mark. The Detroit rapper has now scheduled the release for Curtain Call 2, his second greatest hits record.

The new collection of songs will also feature an as-yet-unheard track and will be released on August 5th on Shady Records via Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope.

Last month, Eminem released ‘From the D 2 the LBC’ alongside a feature from Snoop Dogg. That track will be the lead single from the new collection which came with the press description of being “a hits collection comprised of the inimitable Detroit MC’s creative output since the 2005 release of ‘Curtain Call: The Hits.’”

Curtain Call 2 will include music from all Eminem projects from Relapse forward,” the statement continued. “Including side-projects, guest appearances, film soundtrack songs, and of course selections from his solo albums.”

The standard release is all well and good, however, it is the added bonus that comes with the box sets that will have fans frothing at the mouth. The limited-edition box set will come with a genuine autographed vinyl and will also feature cuts of his collaboration with Cee Lo Green.
