Earl Sweatshirt shares video for new single '2010'

Earl Sweatshirt has dropped the visuals for his new single, ‘2010’.

The Odd Future rapper has teamed up with frequent collaborator and producer Black Noi$e for the track. Most recently, the two teamed up for ‘Ghost’ last year.

The new track sees Earl return to his roots, and the rapper revealed more about the personal song on Instagram, “This one took blood sweat tears and more,” he noted.

On the first verse, Earl spits, “I’m a need a bigger bag for the cohort, Tryna make a millionaire out of slum dogs, Bet that, head crack, blunt force, Cozy with the east Africans up north, Where seven make a three, turn a ten by law, Crescent moon wink, when I blinked it was gone.”

Earl still hasn’t released a body of work since 2019, when he shared his Feet of Clay EP. Although he did drop an extended edition of the EP last year, ‘2010’ is seemingly the start of a new chapter for the artist.

Despite his lack of solo output, Earl has kept a constant stream of features throughout this time. Recently, he’s appeared on Armand Hammer’s ‘Falling Out the Sky,’ ‘Nobles’ and ‘Loose Change’ by The Alchemist, Boldy James’ ‘Photographic Memories,’ and Wiki’s ‘All I Need’.
