Drake disses Kendrick Lamar with shots at ScHoolboy Q and Serena Williams

Drake has taken jabs at Kendrick Lamar by name-dropping ScHoolboy Q and Serena Williams.

This week, a snippet of an unreleased Drizzy song surfaced online, which targets Kendrick following their highly publicised feud.

In the song, Drake raps, “…Serena, but I’m cool with Venus/ I be hanging around those n*ggas like I’m Dua Lipa.” The line appears to reference Kendrick bringing out Serena Williams during his Super Bowl performance after Drizzy reportedly dated the tennis star in 2011.

Then, he seemingly mentions Kendrick’s longtime collaborator, ScHoolboy Q, who both rose to fame on the Top Dawg Entertainment label. The Toronto rapper says, “I might hit up fucking ScHoolboy and do a remix/ ‘Cause you put your n*ggas on, but they making peanuts/ We don’t ever peace it up, the shit we got between us.”

With the line, Drake appears to be recognising the fact that Kendrick collaborates with his friends, but alleges that Q hasn’t profited from his career.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Q’s net worth is estimated to be $6 million. His album, Oxymoron, reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart in 2014. Blank Face LP and CrasH Talk each peaked at number two and three, respectively.

At the height of Drake and Kendrick’s beef, Q had a Toronto show cancelled and claimed it was due to their feud. “THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO…” he wrote on social media. “CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING.”

He continued, “TOP was just wit Wayne & Baby smH partynextdoor just Had a sHow @ tHe palladium. if we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry…”

Denying that he was threatening anyone, he said, “I neva said ‘ima kill sumbody’ im saying if we wanted to crack it off we could’ve smH. Rap and move on playin tuff gon get sumbody Hurt it’s all good. ima soccer dad.”
