Drake becomes first artist to hold top three spots on Billboard 200 chart

Drake has made history by becoming the first artist to hold the top three spots on the Billboard 200.

Earlier this month, Drake surprise-released three albums on the same day: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour.

Now, all three albums have debuted in the top three of Billboard 200, making Drizzy the first artist to hold all three positions in the same week since the US albums chart properly began in 1956.

In doing so, he also surpasses Jay-Z to become the rapper with the most number-one albums ever, with a total of 15. He’s tied with Taylor Swift for the most number ones as a solo artist, while only The Beatles are ahead with 19.

Iceman debuted at number one with 463,000 units, consisting of 449,000 SEA units, 13,000 album sales, and 1,000 TEA units.

Behind that, Habibti opened at number two with 114,000 units. The figure comprises 108,000 SEA units and 6,000 pure album sales.

Coming in at number three is Maid of Honour, totalling 110,000 units. The number consists of 104,000 SEA units and 6,000 album sales, completing the top three positions.

All three albums were released on May 15th, but only Iceman was known to fans beforehand. Across the three projects, there are features from Future, 21 Savage, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Sexyy Red, Popcaan, Central Cee, Loe Shimmy, Molly Santana, Qendresa, Stunna Sandy, and Iconic Savvy.

Drake’s last solo album, For All the Dogs, was released in 2023. It debuted at number one with 402,000 units in its first week. Despite the project being his last solo effort, he teamed up with PARTYNEXTDOOR in 2025 on a collaborative album titled Some Sexy Songs 4 U.
