Donald Glover has lifted the lid on new Childish Gambino music, and fans should be excited.
Glover hasn’t released any music under his alias in over two years, and his focus has been switched to his award-winning television series, Atlanta. The programme’s third season is currently airing, and it has been confirmed to end after season four.
With Atlanta coming to an end, Glover is seemingly shifting his attention back to music. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! he was asked whether he’s back making music, and after initially jokingly saying “No,” he confirmed he was in the studio.
“No, I’m making a lot of music. I really love doing it; I’ve made a bunch of it. It’s just really about how to experience it at this point,” Glover revealed.
However, he did admit that he’s now finding it more difficult to find time in his schedule to make music.
He continued: “It used to just flow, but now I have kids – so nothing flows any more! … Nothing’s as easy as it used to be. So I do block off time now, because I want to be here for [my children] at this time.
“I have this kind of farm, I call it, an art farm. When I go there, then I get to be as ADD as I want.”
