American media personality DJ Akademiks shared a picture with former US President Donald Trump from a high-profile UFC fight this weekend.
Akademiks has already voiced support for Trump and his premiership, announcing his support in interviews and uploading footage to his Instagram from one of Trump’s rallies last year. The two were in attendance at Miami’s Kaseya Centre on Saturday, April 8th, to watch the main event at UFC 287 between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira.
The following day, Akademiks posted an image to his Instagram of his posing with the former US President, joking about the role of Vice President. “Might have to take up Uncle Trump on his offer of being His Vice President 2024,” he wrote, “Bruh told me ‘No way you’d be worse than Kamala’.”
The photograph has polarised fans, with one saying, “Big Ak tryna save on taxes!” Elsewhere, rapper Freddie Gibbs shared the picture on Twitter, saying: “This room stank.”
