Denzel Curry shares new single ‘Walkin’, and announces world tour

Denzel Curry has shared his new single, ‘Walkin’ and revealed plans to head out on a world tour.

Curry recently announced his forthcoming follow-up to 2019’s Zuu, although there is still yet to be a release date revealed for Melt My Eyez See Your Future.

‘Walkin’ is another cut from the upcoming record and sees the rapper spit over the top of a beat handcrafted by Kal Banx. It also arrives alongside desert-themed visuals directed by Adrian Villagomez. The new video is similar to how the rapper announced the new record in a western-style trailer that featured him traipsing through the desert.

Meanwhile, Curry also recently revealed the list of acclaimed names who feature on the LP, and he’ll be linking up with the likes of Slowthai, Kenny Beats, T-Pain, Rico Nasty, JPEGMAFIA, and Thundercat.

Last year, he spoke to LA Weekly about his plans for the album and said, “I’m gonna talk about the trials and tribulations I’m going through as a man, growing into myself. And that’s always gonna be relatable. Not everybody’s gonna relate to money, because people are broke. Not everybody’s gonna relate to having chains and diamonds, because they don’t have it.

“Not everybody is going to relate to having the finest car, because they’re driving a beat-up bucket or they gotta take the bus. So it’s just navigating through that world, in a sense. It’s just me being more relatable as a person, on a human level. And that’s how I’m gonna manoeuvre through the game.”

Additionally, Curry will be hitting the road across North America in April, which finishes up with a run across the UK and Europe in August.
