Daphne Joy claims leaked Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs sex tape was filmed without consent
Daphne Joy has claimed that her leaked sex tape involving Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs was filmed without consent.
A sex tape recently surfaced online that appears to show the actress/model having sex with adult performer Sly Diggler, as Combs watches on.
Now, Joy has addressed the 40-minute footage for the first time, claiming it was filmed without consent.
“The recent leak was a tape I never consented to being filmed on,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram Story on June 1st. “I was blackmailed by the person in the video and was threatened that if I didn’t give him the lump sum of money that they would leak it on the web.”
She continued, “I almost gave in to this demand and once I didn’t, this person eventually sold this tape to a giant media outlet. The media outlet called me one day and said they had the tape and asked if I had any comment before the release. It was the first time I ever fainted in my life.”
Joy described watching the tape as “triggering and painful,” admitting that her heart was “breaking” as she typed the message.
“Once the media company understood the tape they purchased was revenge porn and an extortion scheme, they backed off from broadcasting it,” she said. “I know they are probably reading this and I want to say thank you for doing the right thing. Even though years later, it’s come back to haunt me again.”
Joy was previously in a relationship with 50 Cent around 2011 and 2012, with whom she shares a son named Sire.
Reacting to the video on May 31st, 50 said, “She’s not a victim, SIRE is. Can you imagine going to eighth grade to find out this is your mom. The court system in LA thinks it’s fine.”
