Cypress Hill release 30th-anniversary reissue of self-titled debut

The legendary rap group, Cypress Hill, have been stalwarts of the hip hop scene for over three decades and, to compound that point, the trio are now releasing a 30th-anniversary edition of their self-titled record.

Unlike normal anniversary reissues, the Cypress Hill release will come complete with a set of newly remixed and refinished songs. Available to stream now, there are plans in place to see a physical release too.

As part of the expanded pack, there will be a reprisal of ‘Stoned If the Way of the Walk’ as well as a Spanish version of ‘Pigs’ and an extended version of ‘The Phuncky Feel One’.

One of the prized moments on the release is the Alchemist remix of ‘How I Could Just Kill A Man’, which ranks as some of the freshest beats we’ve heard on a remix for a long time.

The physical box set will be a treat for fans too. Plans are to see the release feature six 7″ vinyl singles as well as an 80-page booklet that is full of stories, photos and much more.

The celebrations don’t stop. As another part of the 30th-anniversary celebrations, Z2 Comics will release the Cypress Hill: Tres Equis graphic novel. So why not sit back, roll up, and get misty about Cypress Hill.
