Court reveals London rapper Digga D made six figures selling weed

London rapper Digga D allegedly made six figures selling weed.

The UK drill artist (real name Rhys Herbert) was sentenced to three years and 11 months in January 2025 for supplying 45kg of cannabis.

According to the BBC, a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing took place at Lincoln Crown Court on June 12th, revealing Digga earned £153,000 from his crimes.

The proceedings were adjourned until September 18th in order for an agreement to be reached on money transfers and jewellery.

Digga is currently out of police custody and joined the hearing via a video link.

The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to two charges surrounding the importation and supply of cannabis, but denied his involvement in the commercial sale of up to 60kg of cannabis.

In December, Judge Simon Hirst said, “It is agreed you had a significant role on the basis you expected significant financial advantage. On occasions others were involved in the operation of returning and collecting cannabis. The level of the offending is so serious that there must be a sentence of imprisonment.”

James Scobie KC, who defended Digga, said, “He does not have a team, this is very much a one-man band. The defendant has been away now since February of last year. There is a very much positive side, legitimate side, to this young man’s life in respect of his work which is that of a performer and a writer to some degree of international notoriety and following.”

He added, “It is very, very sad and disappointing that he has had at the very least a year of his productive working life behind bars. He’s not a danger to the public, he’s actually a contributor to the public.”
