Columbus rapper shot and killed by police officers

Columbus rapper BSQ Wizzle has been shot and killed by police.

33-year-old Isawan Foster lost his life on the night of June 2nd on Wilson Avenue in Columbus, Ohio.

According to WSYX, two police officers, Holden Woolever and Benjamin Beidleman, responded to a domestic violence incident at an apartment complex.

The pair approached a building and said they heard shots and saw Wizzle firing bullets. Executive vice president of the Fraternal Order of Police, Brian Toth, claims they didn’t have time to react.

“They didn’t have two to five seconds; they didn’t have that,” he said. “As soon as they pulled up, they were met by gunfire. We don’t ask you to drop the weapon in a situation like that – we have to do what we have to do. His action time will always beat the officers’ reaction time.”

Speaking on Wizzle’s longtime criminal record, he said, “That person should never have had a firearm to begin with, and was shooting up the house.”

A man named Brandon Wade has been charged with domestic violence and assault. He allegedly hit his wife’s daughter and attempted to stop someone from calling emergency services.

Speaking on his death, Wizzle’s friend said, “Wrong place, wrong time. He isn’t supposed to be dead. It was a situation that wasn’t meant for him. It was cops, they were coming to a little situation. Wizzle wasn’t even involved.”

Wizzle is known for songs like ‘Take a Zone’, ‘Typical’, and ‘I Cannot’, which have hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube.

Fans took to the comments of his visuals to pay tribute. One person wrote, “Rip wizzle one of the best out the city been saying this for years,” while another said, “Long live wizzle great dude man rest in peace my condolences to his children and family im down bad today after dis one.”
