Charlamagne Tha God has backed Pete Davidson during the one-sided war between the comedian and Kanye West.
West has been struggling to come to terms with Kim Kardashian’s new relationship, and his Instagram has been all about Davidson over the past week. He’s shared several more photoshopped images where he refers to Davidson as ‘Skete’, Ye even told fans to shout “Kimye Forever” if they ever saw the SNL comic in the streets.
Kardashian then contacted West to say he was “creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will be all your fault. There are dangerous people out there and this is scary and it doesn’t have to be.”
Charlamagne Tha God has now weighed into the debate and sided with Davidson. The Hot 97 host has claimed that Ye is struggling to cope with how Pete is just a regular guy who is bringing a “normalcy” to Kim’s life when the rapper has all the riches imaginable.
“Kanye is the epitome of just because someone does something good for you doesn’t mean they’re good for you,” Charlamagne said. “Like I’ve said before, in regards to the streets, he’s gon’ learn that wolves don’t make great house pets. He needs to stop playin’ like that,” he added. “And Also, Kim K has been rich her whole life. She’s been rich since she was born. Right? Now, she’s wealthy. So, what do you give the woman who has everything? Normalcy.”
He continued: “That’s what Pete is giving her right now. Normalcy. Pizza, ice cream, and Staten Island… It’s driving him crazy that he has all that money and she’s not interested in none of that right now. Just be a good father to your kids and let the marriage go, king.”
Charlamagne added: “We gotta stop d-riding dysfunction, too. Like, literally, if this was anybody else, and not Kanye West, and he wasn’t the rich, successful person, we walk around wearing his shoes, y’all would have all types of slander for his lame activity right now. His lame behaviour right now, for the way he won’t leave Kim alone right now. So, knock it off.”
