Charlamagne Tha God labels 50 Cent a “diabolical genius”

Charlamagne Tha God has always been a provocative figure in hip-hop who regularly aims at rappers and label executives on the Power 105.0 morning radio show ‘The Breakfast Club’However, he recently gave Queens rapper 50 Cent a backhanded compliment by labelling him a “diabolical genius.”

During an appearance on the Brilliant Idiots podcast with Andrew Schulz, the radio personality explained how he admires the way 50 Cent uses his beef to his benefit in a business capacity.

While speaking with Schultz, Charlamagne highlighted how the G-Unit mogul went into businessman mode as soon as his frenemy, Diddy, stepped down from being the chairman of his TV channel Revolt after sexual assault allegations.

When Diddy (real name Sean Combs) stepped down, 50 Cent took to social media, writing, “I’ll buy [Revolt] from you playboy, for the low because you know Cadillac and AT&T gonna pull out. I’ll give you a few dollars for it now! Sell it to me, then we can be friends.”

Explaining why he felt this was smart, Charlamagne told Schultz, “I’m a tell you why 50 is literally a diabolical genius…He’s telling people who the sponsors are so if they wanna harass Cadillac and AT&T, that’ll happen… don’t fuck with Fif.”

50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) and Diddy have been throwing jabs at each other for years, and although there is no severe beef, they are business competitors. Last month, 50 Cent jokingly stated he was putting out a film called Surving P Diddy, a play on the 2019 documentary Surviving R. Kelly.

The post read, “I Told you they was coming, in 5,4,3,2,1 SMH. This is a movie (SURVIVING P DIDDY) OR (DIDDY, DO IT OR NOT) executive produced by Curtis 50cent Jackson coming soon!”
