Cassie flees the United States after $20 million payout from Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
Cassie has revealed that she quietly left the US following her $20 million payout from Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
The singer is currently facing a lawsuit from male escort Clayton Howard and made a court declaration on May 1st.
According to TMZ, Cassie stated that she no longer lives in America and has no intention to move back. “I reside outside of the United States,” she said. “I do not intend to move back to the United States. I am a citizen of the United States. I am not a resident of the State of California.”
It’s unclear where Cassie is currently located, but she says it would be easier to attend court in New York instead of California.
Howard sued Cassie and Combs in California, claiming the former couple hired him for “freak-offs.” He alleges the sexual encounters resulted in him getting an STD.
Not only that, but Howard claims he got Cassie pregnant and that she had an abortion. He alleges that Cassie and Combs caused physical and psychological injury through sexual abuse.
However, in her latest filing, Cassie claims Clayton sent her husband a supportive message in 2023 after the singer brought forward claims against Combs.
“I know your wife’s truth is 100% valid as I’m sure you did as well,” he allegedly wrote. “I would have come forward and I’m glad she got some form of Justice.! A lot of what I saw really bothered me and because homie was fucked up.”
He allegedly continued, “But I knew she was in love and wouldn’t leave despite being beaten up and punch in the chest in hotel rooms, choked and forced into shit I don’t wanna embarrass anyone with, I’m dam happy you saved her … I’m glad she got something probably not near what she deserves.”
